Job summary

Lincoln Memorial University seeks an Admissions & Community Relations Coordinator to support the Occupational Therapy program. You will coordinate admissions, outreach, and daily program tasks, working closely with the OT Program Director and administrative staff.

The role requires a Bachelor's degree and strong MS Office skills, plus the ability to adapt to new platforms. Travel for recruitment events is expected as part of the job.

Responsibilities

  • Support the OT Program Director and Admissions Committee with admissions tasks.
  • Coordinate and utilize OTCAS for admissions and data gathering.
  • Plan virtual and in-person information sessions and campus tours.
  • Collaborate with LMU departments (Admissions, Marketing, Registrar, etc.).
  • Maintain data related to admissions and assist outreach efforts.
  • Represent the program at recruitment events and engage with stakeholders.
  • Assist with accreditation reports and special program initiatives.
  • Help coordinate undergraduate OTD Admissions Pathways and community relations.

Job Description

The Admissions and Community Relations Coordinator shall support the OccupationalTherapy Program Director, Administrative Coordinator, and OTD Admissions Committeewith administrative functions and coordination of programmatic elements such asadmissions, community outreach, and day to day program tasks as needed. Thecandidate must have excellent communication skills, judgment, and creative problem-solving skills. Additionally, the applicant must have knowledge of technology and theability and willingness to adapt to new platforms/software.

Required Qualifications
  • Bachelors degree *Proficient in Microsoft Office (specifically, Outlook, SharePoint, MSTeams, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint)
Preferred Qualifications
  • Some experience in healthcare related field
  • Experience with management of socialmedia platform pages
  • one-two years experience in higher educationadmissions
  • Experience with Colleague or other CRM platforms
  • Experience with OTCAS or a similar centralized application service
  • Experience with website editing
  • Experience with Zoom

  • participate as a member of the OTD Admissions Committee
  • Coordinate and Support the admissions process using the OT Centralized Application System ( OTCAS )
  • Plan and assist in the delivery of virtual and/or in person OTD Program information sessions and tours for prospective and newly accepted students
  • gather and update data related to the admissions process
  • support the recruitment and application process for students
  • participate as the OTD program representative in college and graduate schoolrecruitment events (travel required)
  • work closely with LMU Administration, including, but not limited to: Admissions,Marketing and Public Relations, Registrar, Financial Aid, and Academic Affairs
  • provide support in the strategic planning process and contribute to the development ofnew programmatic strategic initiatives related to admissions and outreach
  • assist with undergraduate OTD Admissions Pathways through the College ofMathematics, Sciences, and Health Professions
  • identify and develop community relationships to build LMU OTD program recognition
  • coordinate and/or deliver presentations about the program to area high school students
  • work closely with student groups within the OTD program and in other programs/collegesto plan outreach activities and event
  • promote the mission of the Program and University to all faculty, staff, students and tothe community at large
  • assist with bi-annual Advisory Board meetings for community stakeholders
  • capture photos and highlight the program via social media platforms
  • manage special projects as directed by the Program Director
  • assist with planning special student and faculty events such as New Student Orientation,Scholarship Symposium, Commencement, etc
  • manage and assist in the completion of required institutional and program accreditation reports
  • willing to assist in program events and other activities as assigned
