Job summary

Lincoln Memorial University is seeking an Administrative Coordinator to provide comprehensive administrative support for the Doctor of Occupational Therapy (OTD) Program. The role covers academic, clinical, and program operations, coordinating logistics, communications, accreditation documentation, onboarding and fieldwork processes.

The coordinator will handle scheduling, data management, budgeting, compliance, and effective communication with faculty, students and external partners.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma; two years office experience.
  • Some college in a business-related field preferred.
  • Corporate and program support skills and strong communication required.

Responsibilities

  • Promote the mission of Lincoln Memorial University to faculty, staff, students and the community.
  • Promote effective working relationships among faculty, staff and students.
  • Participate on university committees.
  • Maintain security for all University files and privacy procedures.
  • Assist the Occupational Therapy Program Director in appointed responsibilities.
  • Coordinate activities for the Program with administrative assistants across the college.
  • Understand university requirements for faculty, staff and students and coordinate services between programs.
  • Establish effective office procedures in accordance with University policies.
  • Maintain records and documents supporting SACSCOC accreditation criteria and ACOTE standards.
  • Promote fiscal management and maintain accurate records.
  • Maintain/establish program documents and reports.
  • Assist with course/room scheduling as needed.
  • Organize data collection/storage for the school and coordinate annual inventory reports.
  • Perform general office duties (word processing, filing, scheduling).
  • Collect data for files, distribute mail, maintain inventory of supplies.
  • Assist in budgeting, assessment and strategic planning reports for operation and advancement of the University.
  • Maintain records and procedures for duties of the position.
  • Complete required institutional and program accreditation reports.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Job description

The Administrative Coordinator provides comprehensive administrative support to the Doctor of Occupational Therapy ( OTD ) Program, ensuring the smooth day-to-day operations of academic, clinical, and program-related activities. This position works closely with faculty, students, and external partners to coordinate program logistics, manage communications, maintain accreditation documentation, and support student onboarding and fieldwork processes. The coordinator plays a key role in scheduling, data management, budgeting, compliance, and facilitating effective communication within the program and with institutional stakeholders. The candidate must have excellent communication skills, judgement and creative problem-solving skills.

Required Qualifications

High school diploma; *two years office experience.

Preferred Qualifications

Some college in a business-related field with excellent technical skills and experience in higher education
