Job summary

MediLodge of Richmond is seeking an Admissions Interim Part Time Director to manage inquiries, admissions, and community education in Richmond, MI. This role covers personal visits, presentations, tours, and follow-up with prospective residents and families.

Responsibilities include bed management, occupancy oversight, and building referral networks while maintaining compliance with regulations. Part-time, with outside outreach emphasis.

Qualifications

• Associates or Bachelor’s degree preferred in business/communications.
• Two years LT care admissions or related experience required or equivalent.
• Healthcare admissions/community relations experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Respond to inquiries from hospital discharge planners and referral sources with timely follow-up.
• Manage admissions by maintaining bed availability and facility services information.
• Conduct facility tours and manage occupancy and census/premium mix.
• Develop and maintain relationships to inform referral sources about bed availability and services.
• Spend at least 50% of time outside the facility on community education activities.
• Participate in daily stand-up meetings to update department heads on projected admissions and bed changes.
• Coordinate admission plans with DNS and BOM to ensure efficient decisions.
• Input referral and admission data into the automated referral system.
• Maintain knowledge of Federal and State regulations and reimbursement guidelines.
• Develop and implement community education events to position the facility as a skilled nursing leader.
• Monitor customer satisfaction and share results with management to drive improvements.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
