Job summary

Castle Healthcare is seeking an Admissions and Marketing Director to oversee new admissions in line with established policies. The role also focuses on maintaining relations with community partners, families, and staff to ensure smooth processes and strong community ties.

Key duties include coordinating admissions, guiding tours, handling paperwork, and managing bed census while upholding confidentiality and regulatory requirements.

Qualifications

• Must possess, at minimum, a high school diploma or GED.
• Be knowledgeable with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel).
• Must have patience, tact, cheerful disposition and enthusiasm.

Responsibilities

• Interview residents/guardians/sponsors and obtain required admission information and signatures.
• Assist in the resident admission orientation program.
• Admit and prepare identification records for residents.
• Admit, transfer, and discharge residents per established policies.
• Provide residents with admission information packet (e.g., resident rights, notice of privacy practices, admissions contracts).
• Maintain an accurate record of available bed and census.
• Abstract information from records for insurance purposes.
• Notify nursing when the resident arrives to escort to assigned room.
• Maintain confidentiality of resident care information and report incidents.
• Develop, schedule and guide tours throughout the facility.
• Keep brochures and other printed materials readily available.
• Maintain liaison with families, residents, and community leaders.
• Plan and implement special events to advance staff, resident and community relations.
• Participate in community service and civic groups to obtain information and support.
• Manage ongoing community service projects and develop problem-solving actions.
• Attend workshops, seminars, etc., as approved.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
