Job summary

Highland District Hospital in Hillsboro, OH, seeks a Registration/Switchboard Associate to support admissions with courteous data collection, signatures, and policy explanations. You will greet patients, verify information, and ensure privacy and accuracy throughout the registration process.

You will operate the hospital's multi-line switchboard and paging systems, monitor alarms, document messages, and assist in pre-admissions and outpatient areas.

Responsibilities

• Operate a multi-line switchboard and handle pages on intercom and radio systems.
• Monitor hospital paging/radio systems and respond to alarms per policy.
• Maintain privacy logs, message logs, and relevant records.
• Cross-train to support pre-admissions, outpatients, and switchboard duties.
• Provide courteous greetings and professional interactions with patients and staff.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
