Job summary

Cedar Ridge Behavioral Hospital is seeking an Admissions Clinician to perform telephonic and in-person risk assessments and crisis interventions, coordinate referrals and intake, and determine appropriate levels of care to facilitate admissions. The role requires RN or a Master’s in Counseling, Psychology or Social Work, with BSN or licensure eligibility for LCSW/LPC/LMFT preferred.

The position involves communication with referral sources, families, patients and unit staff, and offers

Qualifications

• Experience in intake, assessment, admission and crisis intervention with a psychiatric mental health population.
• RN or Master’s degree in Counseling, Psychology or Social Work.
• BSN or licensure/eligibility for LCSW, LPC, or LMFT preferred.
• Must be at least 21 years of age.

Responsibilities

• Provide telephonic and in-person risk assessment and crisis intervention.
• Initiate contact with referral sources and potential patients.
• Coordinate the referral and intake process and determine the appropriate level of care.
• Facilitate the admission process and maintain communication with referral sources, families, patients and unit staff.
