Job summary

Mountain View Hospital is seeking an Admissions Clerk to join our team in Rexburg. This role coordinates the admission of outpatient testing and procedures, ensures patient information is collected and entered accurately, and communicates Urgent Care policies to patients.

You will interview patients or their representatives, enter required data into the hospital information system, and share pertinent information with ancillary departments.

Qualifications

• Must have a High School Diploma or higher and current BLS Certification.
• Experience: One to three months related experience and/or training.

Responsibilities

• Arrange for the admission of outpatient testing or procedures.
• Ensure patient information is collected and entered accurately in the computer system.
• Interview incoming patients or representatives and enter required admission data.
• Distribute information to ancillary departments and maintain a 95% accuracy rate quarterly.
