Heritage Wellness & Rehabilitation in Missouri is seeking an experienced Admissions Coordinator to support the admissions process, develop referral partnerships, and guide residents and families through transition into skilled nursing care.

You will manage inquiries, tours, documentation, financial verification, and coordination with nursing and hospital staff to ensure timely, compliant admissions and a welcoming transition for residents and their families.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Experience in healthcare admissions, long-term care, or healthcare marketing preferred.
• Strong communication, organization, and customer service skills.

Responsabilités

• Coordinate the admissions process with facility guidelines and procedures.
• Respond to inquiries by phone, walk-ins, and admission requests promptly.
• Provide information about services, programs, accommodations, and rates.
• Conduct tours and answer questions about the facility and services.
• Document admission information, including insurance and physician details.
• Coordinate financial verification and necessary documentation before admission.
• Collaborate with nursing, social services, hospital staff, and other departments.
• Ensure rooms and arrangements are prepared before arrival.
• Maintain relationships with hospitals, referral sources, residents, and families.
• Educate residents and families about transition and care options.
• Follow up on inquiries to support census growth.
• Participate in admissions meetings and ensure compliance with policies.
