Job summary

UCI Health is seeking an Authorization Specialist to obtain required authorisations in line with established guidelines. You will verify eligibility, gather benefit information, and generate letters for authorisation, supporting Member Services and the Call Center as needed.

Qualifications

• Must demonstrate customer service skills appropriate to the job.
• Able to work weekends/holidays.
• Experience with office equipment and multi-line phones.
• Proficiency in English reading, writing and arithmetic.

Responsibilities

• Verify eligibility, obtain benefit information, and generate letters for authorisation.
• Respond to Member Services and Call Center inquiries and resolve authorisation issues.
