Job summary

Optalis Healthcare (Health & Rehabilitation Centers) in Dearborn Heights is seeking a Director of Admissions to oversee admissions and re-admissions, drive census goals, and support marketing efforts. This role ensures prospective residents receive accurate information and coordinates with the Admissions team to optimize the admissions process.

Job Description

Position Summary:

Under the supervision of the Administrator, the Director of Admissions assumes responsibility and accountability of the facility census through admissions and re-admissions, to assist in marketing the facility, and to ensure that persons seeking information regarding admission are promptly provided with accurate and appropriate information about the facility. The Director of Admissions will oversee Admissions assistants in the performance of their job duties.

Key Responsibilities:

Qualifications Required

Education:

• High School diploma or equivalent.

Experience:

• At least three years relevant experience required.

Physical Requirements:

• Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
• Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at a time.

Travel Requirements:

• Some local travel may be required.
