MCAR, Inc. in Hermitage, PA seeks an Administrator of Residential Services to oversee our residential program, ensuring high-quality care for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities in Mercer County.

The role involves supervising RPS, FLS, and Supported Living, coordinating licensing inspections, and leading staff orientations and trainings while maintaining compliance with regulations and company policies.

Qualifications

• A master's degree or above from an accredited college or university with 1 year of related experience.
• A bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university with 2 years of related experience.
• An associate's degree or 60 credit hours with 4 years of related experience.
• Supervisor experience highly preferred.
• MS Office Suite proficiency.
• Strong organization skills.
• Strong interpersonal skills.
• Driver's license and operational vehicle responsibilities.
• Pre-Employment Criminal Background, Physical, TB Test, Drug-Screen.

Responsibilities

• Administration of Residential facilities.
• Supervise and evaluate RPS, FLS, and Supported Living.
• Establish duty assignments of RPS, FLS, and Supported Living.
• Support training of new staff and participate in orientations.
• Interview potential program personnel and manage disciplinary actions.
• Visit homes on a regular basis across all shifts.
• Participate in referral, incident management, and management team meetings.
• Facilitate staff meetings and review referrals for admission.
• Review and action incident reports and regulatory documentation.
• Assist with on-call duties and other duties as assigned.
• Lead in Licensing inspections for 6400 & 6500 regulations.

ESSENTIAL JOB AND DECISION MAKING RESPONSIBILITIES

• Administration of Residential facilities
• Supervise and evaluate RPS, FLS, and Supported Living
• Establish duty assignments of RPS, FLS, and Supported Living
• Supports training of new staff. Contributes to new hire orientations and in-service training, throughout the year.
• Interview potential program personnel for hiring, discipline program personnel as required, terminate employment when necessary
• Visit homes on a regular basis, on all shifts
• Participate in referral meetings, incident management meetings, and management team meetings
• Facilitate staff meetings
• Process referrals for admission
• Process and review all incident reports, take corrective action where necessary
• Assist with on-call duties, as necessary
• Collateral and other duties as assigned
• Participates as lead in Licensing Inspections for 6400 & 6500 Regulations
• Issue discipline, as needed, to staff in the Residential Program
• Monitor completion of and review required regulatory documentation submitted by RPS.
• Collaborates with Nursing and Behavioral Departments to ensure Individual mental and physical health
• Other duties as assigned

Work Schedule

• Monday thru Friday 8:30am - 4:30pm

Job Requirements

• The Administrator of Residential Services shall have one of the following qualifications:
  • A master's degree or above from an accredited college or university and 1 year of work experience working directly with individuals with an intellectual disability or autism.
  • A bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university and 2 years of work experience working directly with individuals with an intellectual disability or autism.
  • An associate's degree or 60 credit hours from an accredited college or university and 4 years of work experience working directly with individuals with an intellectual disability or autism.
