Our intensive 6 to 8 month Administrator in Training (AIT) program provides hands-on experience in every aspect of skilled nursing facility operations. You'll work directly with experienced Nursing Home Administrators and senior leadership while developing the skills needed to successfully lead a post-acute healthcare organization.
During the program, you'll gain experience in:
Skilled nursing facility operations
Financial management, budgeting, and P&L
Regulatory compliance and survey readiness
Census development and business growth
Department and team leadership
Human resources and employee engagement
Executive decision making
Multi-facility operational exposure
Program Salary: $70,000 annually
Upon successful completion of the program and state licensure, Administrators typically receive:
Base salary of $100,000+ (based on location and facility size)
Performance-based profit sharing

MBA graduates
Bachelor's degree holders in Business, Healthcare Administration, Operations, Finance, or related fields

Professionals motivated by ownership, growth, and measurable success
Prior skilled nursing experience is not required.
Bachelor's degree required
Leadership or management experience strongly preferred
Strong business and financial acumen
Ability to meet Wisconsin or Tennessee Nursing Home Administrator licensure requirements
Willingness to relocate within the state for final Administrator placement if needed (relocation assistance provided when applicable)
Advancement through the program is contingent upon successful completion of all licensure requirements.
Champion Care provides structured mentorship and support throughout the licensure process.
Program participants will complete:
State-approved Administrator in Training (AIT) program
National Association of Long Term Care Administrator Boards (NAB) examination
Applicable state licensure examinations
Final Administrator placement is based on business need, performance, and program completion.
