Job summary

Carriage Hill Health & Rehab Center in Fredericksburg, VA seeks an Administrator in Training to develop operations leadership skills under an experienced administrator and preceptor.

You will gain hands-on experience in center operations, team leadership, resident care, regulatory compliance, financial management, and quality assurance while preparing reports and building relationships with residents, families, employees, and regulatory agencies.

Qualifications

• Board approval for participation in the AIT program.
• Degree in Healthcare Management or a related field preferred.
• Strong computer skills.
• Ability to travel as needed to the Fredericksburg and Richmond area.
• Willingness to relocate if needed.

Responsibilities

• Work closely with your preceptor to learn all aspects of center operations.
• Develop skills in planning, organizing, and managing daily operations.
• Strengthen your leadership skills through communication, delegation, hiring, employee recognition, and performance management.
• Learn the responsibilities of each department and how teams work together to support quality care.
• Learn to read, analyze, and prepare reports that measure operational performance.

Carriage Hill Health & Rehab is seeking an Administrator in Training to develop the skills needed to lead a health and rehabilitation center. Working alongside an experienced Administrator and preceptor, you will gain hands‑on experience in center operations, team leadership, resident care, regulatory compliance, financial management, and quality assurance.
