Job summary

BayCare Health System in Lakeland, FL, is seeking an Administrator Home Health to lead the BayCare Home Care – Lakeland agency. You will oversee planning, scheduling, staffing, and delivery of patient care, ensuring compliance with local, state, and federal rules, including JCAHO.

The role requires RN license or health-care related bachelor, 3 years supervisory and 3 years home care, plus strong leadership competencies. BayCare offers a competitive rewards package and path to impact communities.

• Address identified deficiencies in a timely manner and ensure corrective actions are completed.
• Ensure documentation and communication with Corporate Responsibility on complaints.

Position Details

Job Title: Administrator Home Health

Facility: BayCare Home Care – Lakeland

Location: Lakeland, FL

Status: Full Time, Exempt: Yes

Shift Hours: 8am – 5pm (Monday-Friday)

Position Summary

• Has responsibility and accountability for planning, scheduling and staffing, coordinating, and delivering all routine patient care services for a designated agency with more than $10 million in budgeted net revenue per year, as well as other special assignments directed by the Director Home Care, while ensuring compliance with all applicable local, state and federal regulations and standards, including JCAHO.

• Works in conjunction with the DON and PCS to conduct quarterly quality improvement committee meetings, review patient satisfaction data, follow up on negative patient satisfaction surveys, and conduct follow‑up visits with referral sources.

• Ensures identified deficiencies are followed through in a timely manner.

• Assures documentation and communication occur and follow-up is completed with Corporate Responsibility on any complaints.

Minimum Qualifications

Required Qualifications

• Education: Associate degree in Nursing with an RN license, or a bachelor’s degree in a health care-related field.

• Experience: Three years in a supervisory role in a related field and three years of home care experience.

• Credential: RN (Registered Nurse) license required with an associate degree in Nursing.
