Job summary

Avenues Recovery Center is hiring an experienced administrator to lead the facility’s daily operations, HR, payroll, and accreditation processes. The role focuses on staffing, licensing, training, and ensuring smooth census and admission flows.

Ideal candidates hold a business degree (MBA preferred) with a minimum of one year in addiction treatment, strong leadership, and excellent communication skills. Prior recovery experience is valued.

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree, with a focus on business administration preferred.
• Minimum one‑year experience in the addiction treatment industry preferred.
• If in recovery, a minimum one‑year period of sustained sobriety is required.
• Exceptional leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Strong time‑management and multitasking skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide complete executive leadership to the facility – daily operations, profitability, morale, recruiting, etc.

A seasoned administrator with experience in HR, payroll, Joint Commission or CARF accreditation and developing/implementing processes. Experience in residential care, SUD or psych is a plus.

What You’ll Do

• Provide complete executive leadership to the facility – daily operations, profitability, morale, recruiting, etc.
• Address all staffing needs – hiring, training, retention, licensure, scheduling, payroll, etc. – to maintain a smooth HR function.
• Drive admissions and retention through impeccable census management.
• Oversee all aspects of admissions and discharge processes.
• Conduct weekly reviews of all departments and provide ongoing evaluation to ensure maximum communication, efficiency and accountability.
• Oversee daily operations of administrative, residential, clinical, and medical departments.
• Maintain professional relationships with all external business contacts.
• Ensure compliance with all federal and state accreditation requirements.
