Job summary

Tyson Foods is seeking an Accounting Administrator at the Hope plant to support payroll, time and attendance, and general accounting tasks.

You will assist the Plant Controller, coordinate with supervisors, process payroll inquiries, and help with HR-related records and plant activities. The role requires attention to detail, clear communication, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• 3+ years office experience; payroll experience preferred.
• Basic computer skills including Tyson Business Computer System; SAP preferred.
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Ability to multitask and prioritize in a dynamic plant environment.

Responsibilities

• Assist plant supervision with daily and weekly time and attendance using Time and Attendance and SAP Payroll.
• Monitor plant time analytics, ensuring adherence to corporate policies.
• Provide payroll training to new supervisors as necessary.
• Address Team Members' payroll questions and concerns promptly.
• Complete AskHR/Box Office tickets as required.
• Support HR with plant activities and records retention.

Work Shift: 1ST SHIFT (United States of America).

About the role

We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized individual to join our team as an Accounting Administrator. In this role, you will be responsible for various functions efficiently while also providing accounting support to the Plant Controller. These responsibilities could include payroll, time & attendance. Additionally, you may oversee employee supply processes and assist in various plant management tasks. The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to multitask effectively.

Responsibilities

• Assist plant supervision with daily and weekly time and attendance activities using Time and Attendance and SAP Payroll.
• Monitor plant time analytics in Time and Attendance, ensuring adherence to corporate policies.
• Provide training to new supervisors on payroll processes as necessary.
• Address Team Members' payroll questions and concerns promptly and effectively.
• Complete AskHR/Box Office tickets as required.
• Perform miscellaneous tasks such as records retention and supporting HR with plant activities.
• Undertake other duties and projects as assigned.

Requirements

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• 3+ years office experience required; 3+ years payroll experience preferred.
• Computer skills: basic computer skills including using a Tyson Business Computer System as well as Microsoft Office & Excel. SAP Preferred.
• Communication skills: written and verbal skills to communicate with all levels of management.
• Work activities are variable and require judgment to complete tasks such as setting priorities, evaluating results, and coordinating with others. Assignments are defined and the approach to be taken is usually determined in coordination with others.
