Merakey in Chico, CA is seeking an Administrator Day Program to oversee daily operations of an Adult Day Program serving individuals with IDD. You will supervise staff, coordinate scheduling and community activities, ensure program documentation and person-centered supports.

The ideal candidate has a Bachelor's degree, at least 3 years working with IDD and 1 year supervisory experience, plus a valid driver's license.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Minimum 3 years of experience with individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities.
• Minimum 1 year of supervisory or managerial experience.
• Strong knowledge of behavior supports, compliance, and program operations.
• Valid Driver’s License required.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and lead Direct Support Professionals and Lead DSPs.
• Oversee day-to-day program operations including scheduling and community activities.
• Ensure implementation of individualized service plans and behavior plans with proper documentation.
• Provide hands-on coaching in direct care and behavior management.
• Maintain regulatory compliance and Merakey policies.
• Support program administration including documentation and reporting.
• Collaborate with Program Director and interdisciplinary team to improve outcomes.
• Foster a collaborative, proactive team environment.

Overview

The Administrator is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of an Adult Day Program serving individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD). This role ensures high-quality service delivery, staff supervision, and compliance while supporting a person-centered environment located in Chico, CA.

Shift: M-F 7a-330 w/30 min lunch

Pay Rate

• $26.00/hour

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise and provide leadership to Direct Support Professionals (DSPs) and Lead DSPs
• Oversee day-to-day program operations, including scheduling, staffing, and community-based activities
• Ensure implementation of individual service plans, behavior plans, and program documentation
• Provide hands-on support and coaching to staff in direct care, behavior management, and skill development
• Maintain compliance with regulatory standards (Title 17/22) and Merakey policies
• Support program administration, including documentation, reporting, and oversight of individual funds
• Partner with Program Director and interdisciplinary team to drive quality outcomes
• Foster a collaborative, positive team environment and address staffing needs proactively
