Job summary

Merakey is looking for a Program Aide in Philadelphia, PA to support adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities in a structured Adult Day Program. This role involves assisting with daily routines, leading engaging activities, and ensuring a safe environment for all participants.

The ideal candidate will have a High School Diploma/GED and experience working with individuals with IDD is preferred. This full-time position offers competitive pay up to $18.00/hour, along with various benefits including comprehensive medical coverage and tuition reimbursement.

Location: Philadelphia, PA

We are seeking a Program Aide to support adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD) in a structured Adult Day Program.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist adults with IDD with daily routines, personal care, and mobility as needed
• Lead and support group and individual activities focused on life skills, social skills, and recreation
• Encourage independence, positive behavior, and active participation
• Adapt activities to meet individual needs and abilities
• Ensure a safe, supportive, and engaging environment
• Document participant progress and communicate with team members
• Maintain a clean, organized program space and assist with set‑up and cleanup

Schedule

Monday–Friday 7:00 am–3:30 pm

Compensation

Earn up to $18.00/hour with the selection of the Enhanced Pay option.
