The Town of Eagle is looking for an Administrative Technician I or II who is detail-oriented, organized, and tech-savvy with a passion for community development and public service. In this pivotal role, you’ll provide essential administrative support while contributing to the planning, coordination, and execution of key community development initiatives.
As an Administrative Technician I/II this position provides administrative support to all members of the Community Development department. This position performs the following duties: receptionist, answering calls, greeting customers, managing Planning inbox. Report generation, managing files, reviewing business licenses, managing databases, processing invoices, assisting the Director with department budget administration, and other support functions as needed by community development staff. Ability to model Town of Eagle staff values of integrity, respect, commitment, responsibility, collaboration, and leadership. This position is in-office.
Administrative Technician I-Hiring Range: $23.64 - $28.37 per hour. The maximum pay range is $33.10 per hour. A hire rate over the hiring range may be considered based on candidate’s qualifications and experience. Requires: (1) high School diploma or GED; (2) degree in related field preferred; (3) One to three years or more of administrative experience required.
Administrative Technician II- Hiring Range: $26.05 - $31.25 per hour. The maximum pay range is $36.46 per hour. A hire rate over the hiring range may be considered based on candidate’s qualifications and experience. Requires: (1) High school diploma or GED required; (2) degree in related field preferred; (3) three to five years or more of administrative experience required; (4) experience with a previous municipality or Community Development department, preferred; (5) department budget administration experience preferred.
Under the direct supervision of the Community Development Director the Administrative Technician I/II will be at the heart of our Community Development department, providing critical support to both the team and the public. Your duties may include:
Position Type and Expected Work Hours: Position Type and Expected Hours of Work: This is a full-time, benefits eligible position. Normal days and hours of work are Monday through Friday, with a typical 8-hour day. Regular, predictable, and dependable on-site workplace attendance is an essential function of the job, however flexibility in scheduling is supported. May attend Planning & Zoning Committee meetings (1st and 3rd Tuesday at 6:00 p.m.).
