Metro Elevator is seeking an Administrative Support Specialist to assist the Sales Division and Business Manager with daily accounting, administrative tasks, and operational support in Carrollton, TX. Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Business, Finance, or related field preferred.
  • 0–4 years of experience in accounting, bookkeeping, business administration, or related operations; recent graduates are encouraged to apply.
  • Experience or coursework exposure to A/P, A/R, reconciliations, billing, collections, and journal entries.

Responsibilities

  • Provide administrative and financial support to the Business Manager, including billing, collections, reporting, documentation, and follow-up activities.
  • Process and review vendor invoices for accuracy, proper coding, approvals, and timely payment in accordance with company policies and procedures.
  • Support collection efforts by following up on outstanding customer balances and maintaining accurate records of collection activity.
  • Maintain organized and accurate financial records and supporting documentation.
  • Ensure transactions and documentation are complete and audit-ready.
  • Provide day-to-day administrative support to the Sales Division and coordinate follow-up items.

Job Summary:

The Administrative Support Specialist supports day-to-day administrative, accounting, and operational activities, with a strong focus on supporting our Sales Division and Business Manager. We're looking for an organized, detail-oriented, and dependable individual with a strong commitment to accuracy, follow-through, and customer service.

This role provides hands-on support with internal sales processes, billing and collections, accounting-related tasks, and general administrative functions. The Administrative Support Specialist will work closely with the Sales team, Business Manager, and other internal departments to help ensure processes are completed accurately, timely, and efficiently. This is an entry-level position ideal for a recent accounting or business graduate or an early-career professional who is eager to learn, highly trainable, and motivated to develop their skills and grow within a growing organization.

Job Responsibilities (including, but not limited to):
Accounting & Financial Support
  • Provide administrative and financial support to the Business Manager, including billing, collections, reporting, documentation, and follow-up activities.

Sales & Business Support
  • Provide day-to-day administrative support to the Sales Division.
  • Support internal sales processes, including maintaining customer and sales-related information, preparing documentation, and coordinating follow-up items.
  • Help ensure sales-related information is accurately entered, maintained, and communicated across internal teams.
  • Prepare routine reports, spreadsheets, and other information requested by the Business Manager or leadership.
Administrative & Operational Support
  • Provide general administrative and operational support to the accounting and business functions.
  • Assist with vendor setup, documentation, and coordination.
  • Provide administrative accounting support during staff absences or periods of increased workload.
  • Support leadership and operations teams with financial and administrative information as needed.
  • Communicate professionally and effectively with customers, vendors, and internal team members.
  • Take on additional administrative and operational responsibilities as needed to support the organization.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Business, Finance, or a related field preferred.
  • 0–4 years of experience in accounting, bookkeeping, business administration, or related operations; recent graduates are encouraged to apply.
  • Experience or coursework exposure to A/P, A/R, reconciliations, billing, collections, and journal entries.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
  • Highly organized with the ability to prioritize multiple tasks and meet deadlines.

  • Ability to learn new software, systems, and internal processes quickly.
  • Dependable, professional, and willing to take initiative.
