The University of West Georgia is seeking an Administrative Support II to efficiently support the College Dean's Office, involving data management, budgeting, and administrative assistance. Job SummaryThis Administrative Support II reports to the Administrative
Support III position within the College Dean's Office. Provides
administrative support to ensure efficiency for all areas within the
college. Maintains various tasks such as record keeping, data
entry, budgeting, purchasing, scheduling, event support, and
general administrative assistance. This position develops
relationships within the college and some areas across the
university, such as the registrar and purchasing departments.
This position requires being a pCard holder and must pass a credit check.
Responsibilities1 -
Enter data into databases and maintain accurate records.
Compile reports and summaries as required. Assist in the
organization and maintenance of confidential student and
personnel records. Support the College in monitoring student
course enrollment and faculty workload by utilizing
ARGOS/Banner reports; Assist School Director and program
coordinators with course scheduling (course building, rotations, &
revisions). Provide student-centered support in areas such as certificate verification, routing of student issue forms, and
scholarships.

Process invoices, reimbursements, pCard purchases, and
purchase orders, following all UWG and USG policies and
procedures. Assist with budget tracking, expense reconciliation,
and financial reporting for both UWG and Foundation funds.
Assist college faculty/staff with employee
reimbursements/expenses for travel and professional
development.

Provide general administrative support to college staff and faculty.
Prepare and edit documents, presentations, and correspondence.
Monitor phones and college generic email accounts to include
routing and directing calls and inquiries and performing follow-up
as needed. Support college-wide or school-specific events as
needed, including marketing/social media where appropriate.
Perform other duties as assigned to ensure the efficient operation
of the college.

Educational Requirements
High School / GED
Required Experience
2 - 4 years of administrative support experience.
Preferred Educational Qualifications
Preferred education should be Associates Degree; however, not
available in drop down. 1 - 2 years of higher education
experience. UWG experience using UWG platforms.

$19.61 hourly, paid on a bi-weekly basis
Knowledge, Skills, & AbilitiesABILITIES
The ability to work collaboratively with staff, faculty, students,
leadership, outside vendors, etc.
Lifting ' up to 15lbs Office Environment - Work normally
performed in a typical interior work environment.
KNOWLEDGE
Errors in administrative inaccuracies can reflect poorly on the
division and its leadership, potentially damaging relationships with
stakeholders, including faculty, students, donors, and other
departments at UWG.
SKILLS
Intermediate skills in Microsoft Office Suites and Google
platforms. Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
