Full CSU Classification Salary Range: $4,367 - $6,362 permonth

The Administrative Support Coordinator (ASC) is a key contributorsupporting the mission of the Department of Mechanical Engineeringin the Lyles College of Engineering. The position reports to theChair of the Department of Mechanical Engineering. AdministrativeSupport Coordinators are distinguished by the administrative natureand scope of support work performed and/or ongoing workcoordination and/or lead responsibilities with notableaccountability for the work results of support staff or unitadministrative function. Administrative work is typicallyoperational or procedural in nature relating to the program,office, or projects. Work is often of a project nature and mayrequire specialized knowledge. Typically, incumbents areresponsible for the full scope of project activities includinginitiation, execution, coordination, implementation, andevaluation. Incumbents may coordinate the office support for anentire academic, special program or administrative office, or foran administrative head to one of these offices. Incumbents areexpected to use general office equipment and a full range of officesupport technology and systems including: one or more wordprocessing and spreadsheet packages; use of a computer and onlinesystems to enter data and generate reports; maintenance of desktopdatabases; and use of electronic and voice mail.
