Job summary

Qualifications

  • HIGH SCHOOL DIPLOMA OR EQUIVALENCY; OR DEMONSTRATED POSSESSION OF THE COMPETENCIES NECESSARY TO PERFORM THE WORK.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft productivity tools (Outlook, Teams, Word, Excel, and OneDrive/SharePoint) is preferred.
  • Previous experience in higher education is not required, but would be considered favorably.

Responsibilities

  • Customer Service: Contribute to in-person office coverage; be the first point of contact for students, faculty, staff, and visitors; respond to calls and emails; maintain a welcoming office environment.
  • Academic Program Support: Assist department administrators with clerical tasks; support students by providing program information, processing forms, and referrals; help maintain program materials.
  • Clerical Responsibilities: Prepare memos, agendas, minutes; schedule rooms; maintain filing systems; data entry; copy/scan/distribute materials.
  • Business Operations Support: Use a university purchasing card for routine expenditures; draft reimbursement reports; provide operational backup as needed.
  • General Support: Perform other duties as assigned.

Position Summary

This part-time Admin Support Associate position will be housed in one of the Bryan School’s six academic departments, the Department of Information Systems and Supply Chain Management. Reporting to the department head, this position works closely with the department’s lead administrative staff. Work assignments may vary and are primarily customer-oriented and administrative in nature.

Responsibilities include customer service, academic program support, clerical responsibilities, and business operations support. Activities may include other duties, as assigned by supervisor.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Provide operational backup in response to staffing needs. This may include supporting the department’s lead admin, or on occasion, a temporary assignment in another Bryan School office.
