This is a temporary position and there are no leave or retirement benefits offered with this position. This temporary position is located in Raleigh, NC - Wake County.
Job Order Hourly Rate of Pay: $19.00 (Based on education and/or years of relevant work experience reflected on the application).
This temporary position will be assigned to the Department of Commerce. This position is located at 700 Wade Ave, Raleigh, NC 27605.
This is a temporary position and there are no leave or retirement benefits offered with this position. This temporary position will be assigned to the North Carolina Department of Commerce Division of Employment Security (Payment and Wage Processing & Adjustment Unit).
The primary purpose of the position is to input, process and/or adjust various types of reports into the NCSUITS system with accuracy and timeliness.
- Position must thoroughly analyze, review and process information according to document type with minimal supervision upon training.
- Position must acquire and retain processes quickly and maintain a low error rate.
- Position provides exceptional customer service to internal and external customers by various methods of communication such as mail; email; fax; telephone; face-to-face; and Microsoft Teams.
- Personnel must process and/or distribute incoming and outgoing mail according to unit procedures and protocols.
- Personnel will be responsible for examining, verifying, entering, filing, sorting, batching, prepping, processing, and adjusting employer received work documents.
- Staff in the position must scan checks using the CashPro Banking System and ensure that it reconciles to the items keyed in the NCSUITS System.
Knowledge, Skills And Abilities / Competencies

- Customer service experience, including resolving customer issues. Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Experience with Microsoft Office using programs such as Teams, Outlook, Word, and Excel,
- Ability to quickly learn and apply laws, policies, and procedures to tasks.
- Ability to work independently and demonstrate a high level of initiative, ensuring the completion of job requirements with minimal supervision.
- Ability to multitask and handle high-pressure situations calmly. Meeting deadlines and being a collaborative team player are also critical requirements.
Minimum Education And Experience Requirements

High school diploma or General Educational Development (GED) diploma and two years of related administrative experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
