Job summary

The Technical College of the Lowcountry is seeking a Part‑Time Front Desk Administrative Specialist to serve as the first point of contact for the Colleton Campus Enrollment Services office. You will assist with admissions, records, financial aid, and student systems while maintaining welcoming front desk operations.

Under supervision, you will support prospective and current students, manage documents, respond to inquiries across channels, and help with events and campus coordination.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the primary greeter for all students and visitors to the Colleton Enrollment Services Hub.
  • Provide front-line support for admissions, records, and financial aid services.
  • Respond to student inquiries via phone, email, chat, and in person in a professional and timely manner.
  • Assist with the admissions process, including application support and document intake.
  • Maintain an organized, accurate, and up-to-date front desk and filing system.
  • Scan, file, and manage enrollment documents in accordance with procedures.
  • Assist with student ID and parking pass distribution.
  • Support campus recruitment events.
  • Collaborate with other campus departments to support student needs as required.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Job Responsibilities

Job Purpose: Provide exceptional customer service and administrative support for daily operations within Enrollment Services and Workforce Development office, serving as the primary point of contact for students and visitors.

Job Summary

Under the supervision of the Executive Director of Admissions, Enrollment, and Student Success, and their designee, the Colleton Navigator and Building Administrator, the Part‑Time Front Desk Administrative Specialist serves as the first point of contact for the Colleton Campus Enrollment Services office. This role supports prospective and current credit and non‑credit students by providing front‑line assistance with admissions, records, financial aid, and student systems while ensuring efficient and welcoming front desk operations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Serve as the primary greeter for all students and visitors to the Colleton Enrollment Services Hub
  • Provide front‑line support for admissions, records, and financial aid services
  • Respond to student inquiries via phone, email, chat, and in person in a professional and timely manner
