WV Department of Human Services seeks a capable administrative leader to supervise a team of Administrative Services Assistant I positions within the BPH Central Finance Office. The role trains staff, guides sub-recipient grant processes, and ensures compliance with state and federal regulations.
You will lead drafting of subrecipient grant agreements, monitor budgets, approve expenditures, and process amendments. Travel may be required as part of supporting program staff and grantees.
Under limited direction of the Bureau Sub-Recipient Grant Director and working in the Bureau for Public Health (BPH) Central Finance Office. This position has the responsibility for leading a team consisting of multiple Administrative Services Assistant I Positions. This position will assist in training new staff and provide full-performance level administrative sub-recipient grant assistance to BPH Offices. This position will lead staff and support leadership and program staff in writing complex sub-recipient grant agreements. This position is responsible for the preparation of subrecipient grant agreements, monitoring budgets, approving expenditures, processing budget amendments and change order to grant agreements and ensure that all requests are posted accurately and in accordance with state and federal regulations. This position is a crucial point of contact for program staff, manager and directors of the bureau offices, grantees and department staff. This position provides assistance to grantee to resolve complex issues that arise throughout the grant period and actively participate in intra/inter office meetings as the BPH Purchasing Representative. Travel may be required. Other job duties as assigned.
