Strongbow Strategies, LLC (Strongbow) is actively recruiting for a Administrative Project Manager to join our project team in Elizabeth City, NC.

Key Duties/Responsibilities
  • Maintain in-person, email, and phone communication with clients providing updates on various projects.
  • Foster, build, and maintain strong working relationships with clients.
  • Manage and oversee office staff and resources through coordination of tasks, scheduling, and prioritization and completion of assignments.
  • Manage and evaluate administrative department operations and staff members to ensure the project operates in a smooth, efficient manner.
  • Conduct project quality control functions.
  • Develop, analyze, review, and implement administrative department systems and controls.
  • Train, hire, coach, evaluate, and lead administrative support staff members.
  • Create, review, and report project data, use data analysis to solve potential problems or strengthen performance.
  • Develop and establish project policies and procedures to maximize efficiency.
  • Ensure that office systems, controls, policies, procedures, and workspaces are in compliance with current regulations or legislation.
  • Review, administer, and submit hiring and termination paperwork.
  • Perform period audits of employee files and documents for quarterly reporting.
  • Coordinate and submit payroll documentation with accounting and payroll departments.

  • Experience with client communications.
  • Experience/knowledge of HR policies, practices, and procedures.
  • Ability to quickly learn HR‑related software and programs.
  • Self‑motivated and able to work in a fast‑paced environment.
  • Proactive, responsive, and willing to help where needed.
Preferred Experience/Education
  • Bachelor's degree in business administration or a related field preferred.
  • 3+ years office administrative experience.

Salary: $30.00 – $31.25 per hour
