The U.S. Judicial Branch is seeking an Operations Supervisor for the New York Eastern Probation office. This role involves overseeing the administrative staff and ensuring compliance with operational guidelines while leading a dedicated team in the federal court system. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in administrative supervision, strong interpersonal skills, and a commitment to justice.
New York Eastern Probation is the community corrections arm of the federal court system. The Operations Supervisor performs supervisory work related to the full range of agency operational duties. The incumbent serves as a first line supervisor over administrative staff operations (e.g., reception, probation administrative assistants, probation technicians, record room personnel, case processing personnel, etc.). The Operations Supervisor primarily directs staff and ensures compliance with the appropriate guidelines, policies, and internal controls.
