We are seeking an organized, dependable Administrative Operations Assistant to help with everyday office tasks, employee documentation, data entry, and scheduling. This role is suitable for a current student, recent graduate, or someone beginning a career in business administration, human resources, or operations. Advanced Excel skills are required; these may be gained through coursework, projects, or work experience. No prior professional office experience is required.
You will work from established instructions, checklists, and templates, with training and regular guidance from your supervisor. Tasks will be assigned based on your training, agreed hours, and business priorities, with additional responsibilities introduced as your skills develop.
This is a support role with no staff supervision responsibilities. Your supervisor sets priorities, provides training, and reviews work as needed. Hiring decisions, employment eligibility verification, compliance determinations, invoice approval and release, and financial commitments remain with authorized staff. Ask for guidance when instructions are unclear, records conflict, or a request falls outside your assigned responsibilities.
Coursework in business, human resources, accounting, or a related field; experience from school projects, student organizations, volunteering, customer service, or an office setting; and familiarity with Microsoft 365, Power Query, or Excel dashboards. A completed degree, security industry experience, and experience with specialized HR or billing software are not required.
Work includes regular computer use, document handling, routine office communication, and occasional movement around the office, with or without reasonable accommodation. You should be comfortable working carefully with detailed records and communicating with your supervisor when priorities change.
Build practical experience in office administration, recruiting coordination, records management, and basic billing support. Receive guidance on company systems and procedures and develop skills in professional communication, operational reporting, and task organization.
