Join the Department of Conservation and Natural Resources as an Administrative Officer 1 and contribute to the smooth operation of essential programs. This role will allow you to support statewide facility, fleet, and asset management efforts. Your organizational strengths will help staff across the agency work more effectively. DESCRIPTION OF WORK

In this position, you will manage administrative functions that support vehicles, facilities, and assets throughout the Department. You work will strengthen agency operations by coordinating programs, analyzing needs, and supporting staff. As an Administrative Officer 1, you will perform the following duties:

  • Fleet Management: Coordinate vehicle assignments, oversee repairs, review usage, and prepare replacement documentation
  • Facility Support: Manage building access, workspace needs, and coordination with contracted service providers

Work Schedule and Additional Information
  • Full-time employment
  • Work hours are 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, Monday - Friday, with a 60-minute lunch.
  • Telework: You may have the opportunity to work from home (telework) part-time, 1 day per week. In order to telework, you must have a securely configured high-speed internet connection and work from an approved location inside Pennsylvania. If you are unable to telework, you will have the option to report to the headquarters office in Harrisburg. The ability to telework is subject to change at any time. Additional details may be provided during the interview.

Required Experience, Training & Eligibility
QUALIFICATIONS
Minimum Experience and Training Requirements
  • Two years of experience in varied office management or staff work; and bachelor's degree; or
  • Any equivalent combination of experience and training.

  • This particular position also requires possession of a current driver's license which is not under suspension.
