The Administrative Manager supports the planning and allocation of Direct Support Professional (DSP) resources across Living Options & Services. This role manages all aspects of scheduling, DSP engagement, and coordination to ensure group homes are staffed according to Fello and Developmental Disabilities Administration (DDA) requirements. Responsibilities include coordinating and analyzing DSP schedules and staffing assignments, processing timesheets, liaising on document management with external agencies, maintaining Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) stock supplies, and managing and coaching assigned, floating, overnight, and as-needed DSPs. The Administrative Manager is a member of the Leadership Council. This position must meet the qualifications of a Direct Support Professional and complete all required trainings, and is designated essential, requiring work during times of emergency.
The ideal candidate brings three or more years of experience providing administrative support and prior experience in a management role, with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-intensity environment while providing outstanding customer service. They remain flexible, calm under pressure, and adaptive as priorities shift, with excellent oral and written communication and strong interpersonal skills. They are proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook, and have knowledge of outcome systems.
This position requires a high school diploma or GED and three years of experience providing administrative support and prior experience in a management role; a bachelor's degree is strongly preferred. The ability to drive is a requirement of the position.
This position is full-time, based in Severn, with a typical work schedule Monday through Friday during Fello's office hours, with the ability to flex hours based on the needs of the program. This role requires limited travel within the Greater Chesapeake region and is eligible for periodic telework.
