Southern Landscape Group, Inc. in Virginia is seeking an Administrative Intern to assist with day-to-day business operations. The role supports the office, sales, production, and marketing teams with a focus on accurate record keeping and professional communications.

The position is in-person at our Evington, VA office, with Monday–Friday hours from 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM. Ideal for students or recent grads pursuing business administration, office management, or related fields.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in or recently graduated from a program in Business Administration, Office Management, Communications, or a related field
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) or Google Workspace
• Highly organized with strong attention to detail
• Ability to multitask and prioritize in a busy environment
• Interest in landscaping or outdoor services is a plus

Responsibilities

• Answer and direct phone calls, emails, and customer inquiries in a professional manner
• Assist with client notifications and communications
• Maintain and update client records, contracts, and service files
• Support invoicing, billing, and basic bookkeeping tasks using company software
• Prepare reports, correspondence, and other documents as needed
• Help manage vendor receivables
• Assist with onboarding paperwork and employee file maintenance
• Provide general office support including filing, data entry, and organizing documents
• Support social media or marketing tasks as assigned
