An Administrative Fellowship is a preceptor-directed program designed to nurture independence and experiential learning by an individual who has obtained a Masters of Healthcare Administration degree or a Masters of Business Administration degree. As such, it represents a way to assist Fellows in their transition to the Healthcare Profession from academically acquired knowledge to the actual management of healthcare organizations. The fellowship is structured, lasting one year, and involves the opportunity to work side-by-side with Senior Leaders to experience leadership opportunities, including: Strategic Planning, Operations, Business Development, Employee Engagement Strategies, Process Improvement, and New Ventures. While the organization may offer the fellow permanent employment, it is not required to, nor is the fellow obliged to accept such an offer.
