Responsibilities

• Coordinates the gathering and development of data to support decision-making and policy development.
• Collects information from a wide variety of sources.
• Researches, drafts, and coordinates departmental communications for issue resolution and policy clarification.
• Reviews and analyzes data to present it usefully to project participants.
• Provides analysis and interpretation of data and makes recommendations as appropriate.
• Maintains information databases and provides reporting.
• Handles a variety of administrative staff services for the department.
• Serves as the institution's point of contact for information on assigned projects.
• Ensures compliance with federal, state and university regulations and procedures.
• Assists in preparation of manuscripts and presentation materials.
• Edits research papers, project reports, and publication materials as needed.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
