About Projects With Care

Projects With Care is a nonprofit organization dedicated to supporting children and families experiencing homelessness and hardship through targeted programs and initiatives. Our core initiatives—Project Welcome Home, Project First Day, and Stockings With Care—aim to restore dignity, inspire hope, and build stronger communities through meaningful acts of care.

Position Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented and mission-driven Administrative Coordinator to provide day-to-day administrative support across our programs. This is an excellent opportunity for an organized and motivated individual to gain experience in nonprofit operations and contribute to impactful community work.

Key Responsibilities

    • Provide administrative support to the Executive Director and Program Manager
    • Assist with scheduling, meeting preparation, and communications
    • Maintain and organize data using spreadsheets and CRM tools (Bloomerang experience preferred, not required)
    • Support inventory tracking, donation coordination, and logistics for programs
    • Prepare materials and reports for internal and external stakeholders
    • Help coordinate volunteer communications and documentation
    • Assist with event planning and execution for seasonal initiatives
    • Ensure timely and accurate data entry and recordkeeping
Qualifications

    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)
    • Strong attention to detail and data management skills
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
    • Ability to multitask and meet deadlines in a dynamic environment
    • Self-starter with a collaborative spirit and willingness to learn
    • Passion for the mission of Projects With Care and a commitment to service
    • Previous administrative or volunteer experience (preferred, not required)
