Federated Hermes, Inc., a global leader in active, responsible investing, is seeking an Administrative Compliance Assistant to join our Compliance department basedat our downtown Pittsburgh headquarters.

What You’ll Do

As an Administrative Compliance Assistant, you will be responsible for administrative support to the Federated Hermes compliance program by maintaining systems, processing and managing documents, and assisting compliance personnel with various operational tasks.

  • Maintain and manage compliance data systems, including accurate entry and updates. Responsibilities include transaction input, security master list updates, and responding to internal inquiries regarding system operations
  • Track quarterly and annual reporting responses and certifications. Prepare documentation and coordinate with Human Resources and management to ensure timely updates on personnel changes affecting compliance status
  • Support onboarding and offboarding processes for individuals designated as Access Persons/Covered Associates by preparing transmittal documents, scheduling training sessions, and ensuring proper documentation and system access controls are in place. Maintain confidential files
  • Administer compliance-related correspondence and documentation. Ensure all compliance materials are filed and maintained securely and accurately
  • Provide comprehensive administrative support to Compliance Officers and Managers, including scheduling, travel arrangements, expense reporting, and preparation of meeting materials. Anticipate needs and ensure readiness for conferences, appointments, and internal as well as external communications
  • Utilize office software tools such as Excel, Word, and PowerPoint to produce high-quality reports, presentations, and training materials
  • Manage confidential and complex administrative tasks, including responding to routine correspondence, collecting, compiling and analyzing moderately complex data for reports, and preparing special summaries

What we are looking for

  • High School Diploma or equivalent required; Associate degree in Business preferred
  • A minimum of 2 years of administrative experience required including working with technical and confidential matters
  • Financial services, legal, or government experience preferred
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Excel required
