This position is located in Louisville, KY.

The Administrative Buyer is a key member of the Operations team at Aegis, supporting both Manufacturing and Procurement functions. This role is responsible for managing the procurement lifecycle, including sourcing, purchasing, and coordinating the delivery of materials, supplies, and equipment. The Administrative Buyer plays a critical role in vendor management, market analysis, and ensuring alignment with Aegis’ mission, vision, and core values.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Utilize the ERP system to manage and track purchase orders, inventory levels, and supplier contracts with accuracy and efficiency.
  • Partner with internal stakeholders to assess material needs, develop sourcing strategies, and communicate procurement updates.
  • Support supplier negotiations to secure optimal pricing, terms, and delivery schedules.
  • Ensure timely procurement of materials in alignment with project timelines, budgets, and quality standards.
  • Conduct market research to evaluate supply trends and potential impacts on material availability and pricing.
  • Monitor and expedite supplier deliveries and resolve any delays or discrepancies.
  • Review and approve supplier invoices to ensure accuracy and compliance with purchase orders.
  • Coordinate logistics and delivery schedules to ensure seamless material flow.
  • Generate and submit purchase orders in accordance with company policies and procedures.

Required Qualifications:
