Oklahoma State Government is seeking an Administrative Assistant for the Workers Compensation & Insurance Fraud unit in Oklahoma City. This full-time, non-exempt role supports case filings, court scheduling, subpoenas, and witness coordination within the Attorney General's Office.

Qualifications

  • Excellent communication and computer skills.
  • Detail-oriented with exceptional organizational skills.
  • Excellent spelling; strong writing; proofreading and document-formatting skills.
  • Proficient with Excel, Word, Prosecutor by Karpel (or similar case management systems), and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Must agree in writing to complete and pass a background investigation.

Responsibilities

  • Preparing case filings
  • Docketing court dates and filing deadlines
  • Prepare court orders and subpoenas
  • Managing restitution payment accounts
  • Assist AAG with coordination of witnesses and court filing documents
  • Distribution of unit mail
  • Maintaining computer and hard copy filing systems
  • Supporting WCIF Attorneys and Agents with administrative functions
  • Responsible for documenting meeting minutes by accurately dictating, formatting and distributing meeting minutes, action items and decisions.
  • Other duties as assigned

Salary Range: Commensurate with experience and qualifications.

FLSA Status: Non-exempt

Location of Work: Oklahoma City, OK

Schedule: Full-time

Position Summary: The Workers Compensation and Insurance Fraud unit endeavors to keep all participating individuals and entities in the workers’ compensation and insurance business models accountable. This includes claimants, businesses, medical providers, insurance companies and legal representatives.

  • Preparing case filings
  • Docketing court dates and filing deadlines
  • Prepare court orders and subpoenas
  • Managing restitution payment accounts
  • Assist AAG with coordination of witnesses and court filing documents
  • Distribution of unit mail
  • Maintaining computer and hard copy filing systems
  • Supporting WCIF Attorneys and Agents with administrative functions

Required Qualifications: Applicants must possess excellent communication and computer skills.
