Job summary

Vail Resorts in Kentucky is hiring Ski School Administrative Specialists for the 2026/2027 winter season. You will ensure smooth operations for the Ski and Ride School, handle data entry, payroll support, staffing communications, and onboarding while delivering exceptional guest service.

  • High school diploma or GED required; some college preferred.
  • Minimum 1+ years administrative work experience.
  • Strong computer skills including Microsoft Office applications.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure all administrative needs of the Ski and Ride School are met, including ordering, data entry, reporting, filing and staff communications.
  • Manage recruitment and onboarding process, including participation in recruitment events and coordinating interviews, orientation, paperwork and training.
  • Handle payroll and timekeeping entry with auditing, ensuring timely corrections and escalating issues to management.
  • Support Training Supervisor with reporting, tracking, and scheduling.
  • Train supervisors and administrative staff on payroll functions and systems.
  • Maintain organization and cleanliness of the Ski and Ride School office.
  • Assist employees with HR-related questions, maintaining confidentiality of sensitive information.

Job Specifications

Job Responsibilities

Job Requirements
  • High School Diploma or GED Equivalent required; some college preferred
  • 1+ years of administrative work experience preferred
  • Strong computer skills including Microsoft applications
  • Must be able to communicate fluently in English

The expected pay range is$22.87/hr -$28.59/hr. This is the pay range we reasonably expect to pay for this position. Individual compensation decisions are based on a variety of factors.
