About The Role

Maximus is seeking an experienced Administrative Assistant III to support the Veterans Administration (VA) Clinical Peer Review (CPR) program. This is a fully remote position providing administrative and operational support related to medical-legal, risk management, and clinical peer review processes. The ideal candidate is highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage complex onboarding tasks for reviewers and internal staff while ensuring compliance with VA policies and procedures.

Location: Remote (Continental U.S. only)

Employment Type: Full-Time

Pay Range: $17.75 – $31.71 per hour (based on location)

Responsibilities

  • Provide subject matter expertise for onboarding processes within the VA CPR program
  • Handle emails and calls related to onboarding for internal and external customers
  • Guide reviewers through VA appointment scheduling, fingerprinting, and form completion
  • Conduct and track onboarding training through VA platforms (TMS, ID.me, CITRIX, etc.)
  • Maintain and update SharePoint pages and onboarding tracking logs
  • Monitor shared email accounts and respond to onboarding-related inquiries
  • Conduct initial case intake validation and perform quality checks on case submissions
  • Prepare contract deliverables, including staff rosters, quality reports, and inter-rater reliability documentation
  • Coordinate with Professional Services for monthly LEIE checks
  • Submit reviewer recruitment requests as needed

Qualifications

Required:

  • High school diploma or equivalent with 2–4 years of administrative experience
  • Strong communication and coordination skills
  • Ability to work independently and handle multiple priorities
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and collaborative tools like SharePoint

Preferred

  • Associate degree and 2+ years’ experience as a Senior Administrator
  • Familiarity with VA systems and federal onboarding procedures
