TxDOT's Austin District is seeking an Administrative Assistant II or III to support our Alternative Project Delivery Team in Austin, TX. This role involves providing administrative support for department staff, the public, and various projects and programs. The position requires interaction with middle and high-level managers and private entities. Employees at this level set their own work priorities to meet objectives, with issues rarely escalated to supervisors.

This position is available for either Administrative Assistant II or III. The Texas Department of Transportation reserves the right to determine the appropriate level based on the applicant's experience, education, skills, and business needs.
Salary Plan/Grade:
Administrative Assistant II: A15 ($38,976 - $58,045/year)
Administrative Assistant III: A17 ($42,976 - $64,469/year)
