Job summary

PAM Health is seeking an administrative professional to support the Nursing Services department in a busy healthcare setting. The role involves maintaining departmental files, memos, and policy manuals while protecting patient and staff confidentiality.

In coordination with the Director of Nursing, you will assist with staffing coordination, prepare statistics for service areas, and liaise with other departments.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• 1–2 years of healthcare and/or office experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintain department files, memorandums, correspondence, policies and patient/staff confidentiality.
• Assist with staffing coordination.
• Prepare service area statistics under guidance of Nursing Director.
• Act as liaison between Nursing Services and other departments.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.

This position is vital to the operation of Nursing Services. In coordination with the Director of Nursing, maintains the department files, inter-office memorandums, correspondence, policy and procedure manuals, and maintains confidential information of patients and staff. Assists with coordination of staffing. Prepares statistical information for service areas under the guidance of the Director of Nursing. Serves as a liaison between departments outside the scope of Nursing Services. Performs other related duties as assigned or requested.

Education and Training:

High School diploma or equivalent. Graduated from or attended a business college or secretarial school.

Experience:

No experience required; however, 1-2 years of experience in healthcare and/or office practice is preferred.
