Unitex is currently seeking an Administrative Assistant for our location in Lawrence, MA.
Compensation: $21.00 - $23.00 per hour. The salary range for this position is $21.00/hour to $23.00/hour. Actual compensation decisions are based on factors such as experience, seniority, location, and other permissible job-related factors.
Schedule: In-office, Monday - Friday 8:00AM - 4:30 PM with the flexibility to work additional hours when needed.
Responsibilities Include
- Answer phones in a professional manner and assist customers
- Handle general office administrative duties
- Assist with Human Resources (HR) functions such as onboarding of new employees, employee events, payroll
- Review invoices and communicate discrepancies with service and plant personnel
- Assist with special projects and reports
- Provide support for surrounding departments as needed
- Place orders with vendors for linen and garments
- Organize and code invoices for Accounts Payable
- Handle weekly invoicing to customers and weekly reporting to the corporate office
- Maintain SKU center pricing
- Assist office manager and general manager as needed
Required Skills
- 1+ years of experience in customer service
- Associate's degree preferred
- Bilingual Spanish mandatory
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)
- Attention to detail
- Ability to multi-task and prioritize
- Excellent time management skills
- Accurate data entry skills
