Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine seeks an Administrative Assistant for the Moultrie Campus. The role is 37.5 hours per week in the Biomedical Sciences - Administrative unit, reporting to Shayna Owens.
Primary duties include supporting budgeting, planning, and reporting; data entry into databases; and maintaining confidentiality. Responsibilities also cover meeting scheduling, minute taking, coordinating events, and pursuing process improvements.

The successful incumbent will perform the following duties, with or without reasonable accommodations:
Assist with collecting or compiling information to complete key department functions, including but not limited to, strategic and academic planning, budgeting, and reporting.
Enter data and information into databases and systems in an accurate and timely manner. Such information includes, but is not limited to, student data, course details.
Schedule and attend meetings, as required; maintain a high level of confidentiality when dealing with sensitive matters. Create agendas and minutes for these meetings.
Implement quality, service, and process improvement initiatives to enhance day-to-day administrative and operational efforts.
Manage all facets of event planning for the department, as applicable.
Perform other role-related duties as assigned or requested.
Minimum two years' experience in a similar administrative support role, preferably in a higher education setting.
High level of computer proficiency in word processing, excel spreadsheet, presentations, email, and virtual meeting applications, preferably on the Google Workspace or Microsoft 365 platforms.
Experience with Smartsheet is preferred but not required.
High level customer service.

Strong communication skills, including written, verbal, and interpersonal.
Strong collaboration skills.
High school diploma or GED required; Associates or Bachelor's Degree in business administration, liberal arts, or similar discipline is preferred.
Ability to sit for prolonged periods, up to eight hours per day.
Ability to lift up to 25 lbs.
Ability to view computer screen for extended periods, up to eight hours per day.
Manual dexterity and mobility in order to use personal computers and other office equipment.
Starting Salary: $17.72 /hr
