Snoqualmie Valley Health is seeking an Administrative Assistant to provide organized, responsive support to the Executive Team in a fast-paced hospital setting. This temporary role (2-4 months) focuses on scheduling, correspondence, meetings, data entry, purchasing, and day-to-day operations.

The successful candidate will be dependable, detail-oriented, service-minded, and capable of handling multiple priorities while maintaining confidentiality and professionalism.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Associate degree or additional education in Business Administration, Healthcare Administration, or a related field preferred.
  • Two or more years of administrative, office, healthcare, or customer service experience preferred.
  • Experience in healthcare or hospital environment preferred but not required.
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills with the ability to prioritize multiple assignments.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams).
  • Ability to learn new software, databases, and systems.
  • Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.

Responsibilities

  • Provide day-to-day administrative support to assigned department or leaders.
  • Manage calendars, schedule meetings, coordinate appointments, and assist with meeting logistics.
  • Prepare meeting agendas, presentations, reports, spreadsheets, and documents.
  • Take meeting notes and track action items and follow-up.
  • Coordinate internal and external communications via phone, email, and written correspondence.
  • Maintain accurate electronic and physical files and departmental documentation.
  • Assist with purchasing, invoices, expense reports, credit card reconciliation, and routine financial tasks.
  • Enter and maintain information in organizational databases and systems.
  • Assist with onboarding, training coordination, and department communications.
  • Coordinate supplies, equipment, service requests, and other departmental needs.
  • Assist with special projects, events, and organizational initiatives.
  • Monitor deadlines and follow up on outstanding tasks and requests.
  • Serve as a liaison between departments and external partners.
  • Maintain a professional and organized work environment.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Job Title: Administrative Assistant (Temporary 2-4 months)

Position Summary: The Administrative Assistant provides organized, responsive, and professional administrative support to the Executive Team. This position assists with scheduling, correspondence, meetings, documentation, data entry, purchasing, expense tracking, and day-to-day administrative operations. The Administrative Assistant serves as an important connection point between departments, employees, patients, community partners, and organizational leadership. The ideal candidate is dependable, detail-oriented, service-minded, and able to manage multiple priorities while maintaining confidentiality and professionalism in a fast-paced healthcare environment.
