Job summary

Greenman-Pedersen, Inc. (GPI) / Underwater Engineering Services, Inc. (UESI) is seeking an Administrative Assistant in Slidell, Louisiana.

The role supports office leadership and project teams, manages calendars, reviews reports, prepares proposals, and handles correspondence with clients and vendors. The ideal candidate has 3+ years of admin experience in engineering/construction or professional services, with strong MS Office skills and excellent communication.

Qualifications

  • Associate's or Bachelor's degree preferred, but equivalent experience will be considered.
  • 3+ years of administrative support experience, preferably in an engineering, construction, technical services, or professional services environment.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to handle confidential information with discretion and professionalism.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently.
  • Experience coordinating meetings, schedules, and office operations.

Responsibilities

  • Support travel arrangements, meeting logistics, and event coordination as needed.
  • Assist with budget tracking, expense reporting, and other administrative accounting functions.
  • Prioritize multiple tasks and projects while meeting deadlines.
  • Serve as a professional point of contact for clients, vendors, and team members.
