The Virginia Department of Environmental Quality is seeking an administrative support specialist for the Water Operations Division. The role coordinates procurement activities, prepares and submits requisitions in eVA for contracts and renewals, and manages P-card transactions and weekly public notices.
This position offers a hybrid schedule with in-office and telework options. A valid Virginia driver’s license may be required, and duties may include operating state vehicles.
This position primarily provides administrative support for the Water Operations Division. The duties of this position will include, but are not limited to, coordinating procurement activities by preparing and submitting requisitions in eVA for new contracts/agreements and renewals and will coordinate and manage Purchasing card (P-card) transactions, reconciliation, documentation, and records for the weekly public notice process. Please note this position follows a hybrid work schedule to include both in-office and telework. Candidates must be able to work from the assigned work location in Virginia. This position may require you to operate a state owned or leased vehicle. Therefore, a valid driver's license is required.
