Suspension of Drexel University's Contribution into 403(b) Retirement Plan

Job Summary

The Center for Nonviolence and Social Justice (CNSJ) at Dornsife School of Public Health is looking for an Administrative Assistant to support the center's daily operations, social media and communications, and outreach efforts.

Essential Functions

This part-time position will work closely with CNSJ's Administrative Coordinator and the CNSJ Program Manager, Research and Communications. This position will perform the following duties:

  • Assists CNSJ's Administrative Coordinator with daily operations, including front desk coverage and keeping inventory of office and client supplies.
  • Assists the CNSJ Communications Specialist by attending outreach events to support communities that experience violence and need mental health services.
  • Contributes to updating the Healing Hurt People (HHP) Implementation Manual. This position will review existing documents, conduct interviews with HHP leadership and staff, work closely with the CNSJ Executive Director and the CNSJ Program Manager, coordinate meetings, and assist with timeline and project deliverables.

Required Qualifications

  • Minimum of Bachelor's Degree in in public health, biology.
  • Minimum of 1 year of experience.
  • Highly dependable and committed to creating a safe and welcoming space for all the CNSJ's clients and stakeholders.
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Work Study or related experience required

This is a Part-Time per diem position classified as Non-Exempt. The offered pay is based on the successful candidate’s qualifications and experience, department budget, and an internal equity review.
