Job Purpose

The Administrative Assistant provides day-to-day administrative and logistical support to executives, enabling smooth scheduling, communication, and document management.

The Administrative Assistant will thrive in a fast‑paced, dynamic, and constantly evolving environment. As a valued member of the team, your communication skills will foster and maintain professional relationships with AHP leadership and community stakeholders. Flexibility and ability to adapt to change are necessary traits.

Job Functions
  • Calendar management and scheduling
  • Meeting logistics and expense tracking
  • Document formatting and preparation
  • Handle emails and phone communications
  • Maintain files and records
  • Prepare basic materials
  • Assist with special projects as assigned
  • Maintain organization of executive material
  • Most importantly, all functions must be completed while maintaining high standards of ethical and professional conduct while adhering to agency policies and procedures.
Position Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or GED required
  • 2+ years administrative experience or equivalent education
  • Excellent computer proficiency - expert Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
  • Ability to multitask, prioritize tasks, and handle multiple tasks with set deadlines
  • Experience handling confidential information - exercises good judgement and discretion while maintaining confidentiality of information and documents
  • Willing to work overtime as needed in urgent situations
  • Able to adapt to change
