Job summary

Kanta Electric Corp. seeks an experienced administrator to work with HR and Field teams in New York. You will track onboarding/offboarding, action items, and service requests while preparing monthly IT reports on training, cellular, and hardware costs.

You will reconcile expenses, assist with orders, and maintain vendor contracts and renewal dates, including internet, utilities, and licensing. The role supports ISO compliance and long Island trainings and licensing requirements.

Qualifications

  • 6-8 years of industry experience in electrical construction and demonstrated technical knowledge applied to previous electrical construction projects completed.
  • Experience with tracking onboarding and offboarding activities is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate with HR & Field to track onboarding and offboarding activities
  • Track and follow up on employee and manager action items
  • Follow up on stalled or incomplete requests (non-technical support)
  • Prepare non-technical monthly IT reports (Training, cellular, and hardware)
  • Reconcile monthly expenses and invoices
  • Assist with fulfilling and tracking orders
  • Maintain vendor contact lists, contracts, and renewal dates (internet services, utilities, licensing)
  • Track service requests and ensure follow-through
  • Support recurring ISO policy and compliance requirements
  • Manage and maintain employee roster updates, including tracking and maintaining all Long Island employee and field staff trainings, certifications, and compliance records
  • Provide ongoing support with The Onion platform and all related electrical licensing requirements
  • Assist with BEC and FDNY filings, ensuring accuracy and timely submissions, and follow up with Project Managers to close out all BEC and FDNY requirements

Job description

6-8 years of industry experience in electrical construction and demonstrated technical knowledge applied to previous electrical construction projects completed. Project history should include New York City and New York State agencies such as DASNY, PANY/NJ, NYC SCA, MTA, DEP, etc. Proficiency with all basic MS Office software including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Primavera/Microsoft Project or other Project Management software, as well as Cost Coding software.
